For the Killeen family home, we completely reimagined both the bathroom and kitchen, while also addressing critical structural issues caused by water damage.

In the bathroom, the original design felt dark and outdated with yellow walls, dated tiles, and a standard tub. We transformed the space by replacing the tub with a sleek walk-in shower featuring sliding glass doors, glossy vertical tiles in deep blue and white, and a custom shower niche for storage. To soften the long rectangular layout, we introduced a corner tile detail, bringing balance and warmth to the overall design. A new vanity with clean lines, patterned floor tiles, and brushed nickel finish fixtures added elegance and practicality, creating a spa-like retreat.

In the kitchen, the previous backsplash and mixed finishes made the space feel uncoordinated. We refreshed it with a bold red honeycomb tile backsplash, preserved the classic white cabinetry for contrast, and upgraded the lighting and hardware in brushed nickel finishes. The result is a vibrant yet timeless kitchen that serves as a welcoming hub for the family.

Beyond aesthetics, this project also required restoration work due to a severe water leak. The damage had worn down the flooring across four rooms, which we sanded and refinished with a new protective stain. To ensure long-term durability, we installed fully water-resistant wall boards throughout the affected areas and repainted, securing both the structure and the design integrity of the home.
